Anyaso Foundation Empowers Igbere Women Traders with Cash Support
“Ward Coordinators of the Chima Anyaso Foundation, led by Hon. Chukwuma Orji, storm Igbere Market with ₦10,000 cash support for women petty traders, reinforcing Dr. Chimaobi Desmond Anyaso’s grassroots empowerment drive in Bende Federal Constituency.”
In a powerful show of grassroots solidarity, the Ward Coordinators of the Chima Anyaso Foundation across the 13 wards of Bende Federal Constituency have taken philanthropy a step further by directly empowering women petty traders at Igbere Market.
Led by Hon. Chukwuma Orji, the coordinators distributed ₦10,000 each to several hardworking women traders—many of whom arrived at the market with goods valued at less than ₦5,000. The intervention, carried out on behalf of Dr. Chimaobi Desmond Anyaso (popularly known as Ofuji), left beneficiaries visibly emotional and deeply appreciative.
EMULATING A CULTURE OF PHILANTHROPY
There is a popular saying among the people: when a mother goat chews the cord, her kid watches closely. In the same vein, while Dr. Anyaso continues to empower youths and women across Bende Federal Constituency, his coordinators are clearly learning and replicating his culture of compassion and service.
The Igbere Market outreach reflects the Foundation’s commitment to supporting women who form the backbone of the local economy. For many of the beneficiaries, the ₦10,000 cash boost was more than financial support—it was encouragement, dignity, and renewed hope.

LEADERSHIP BY RESULTS, NOT RHETORIC
Observers describe the initiative as leadership in action—focused on empowerment rather than empty promises. By extending Ofuji’s vision to the grassroots level, Hon. Chukwuma Orji and his team have demonstrated what sustainable political structure truly means: building people, not just platforms.
This move further cements Dr. Anyaso’s reputation is not only a philanthropist but a mentor who is raising a new generation of community-minded leaders in Bende Federal Constituency.
A TRACK RECORD OF IMPACT
The market outreach follows the launch of the Ofuji Bende Women Cash Support for Petty Traders Initiative on February 6, 2026, during which over 100 women reportedly received ₦200,000 each to scale their businesses and improve their livelihoods.
Dr. Anyaso maintains that empowering women is central to sustainable development.
“When women are empowered, communities thrive. This initiative reflects our shared responsibility to uplift one another and create opportunities for sustainable prosperity at the grassroots level.”
Across Bende Federal Constituency, his efforts have increasingly been described as transformational—anchored on real engagement and measurable impact.
