Sources close to the first family reveal that Umahi has concluded plans to replace Mr. Onu Nwonye with his first son , Osborne Umahi come 2023 General Elections.

It would be recalled that the 6th Assembly presided over by Rt. Hon. Francis Ogbonnaya Nwifuru had indefinitely suspended Mr. Nwonye for reasons best known to the Law Makers.

Sources close also revealed that Governor’s son, Osborne who just clocked 21years-old this year had been penciled to occupy Hon. Nwonye’s seat against all odds, come 2023.

If he succeeds he would become the youngest member of Ebonyi State Assembly member.

Evidently as rumoured, Ebonyi State Governor has his interest at heart.

Hon Nwifuru is doing everything possible to buy Governor’s attention to maintain power rotation as it is expected that the Izzi extraction would produce the Governor come 2023.

It is also rumoured know that young House of Assembly speaker would be overwhelmed if nominated by Governor Umahi to run for governorship under PDP in 2023.

However, some anonymous sources have insisted that despite all attacks their plots to retire Hon. Onu Nwoye from active politics will not see the light of the day.
