The Ebonyi state Governor , Chief David Umahi has directed the Director of Department of state security (DSS) and men of Nigeria police force to urgently arrest and arraign those involved in the recent cult clash, in Afikpo south local government area of Ebonyi state.
Ebonyi Governor who expressed desatisfaction over the attack that kept the entire community on perpetual remorse, recalled that the state government had earlier, warned members of the cult gang in the area to put an end to their activities .
Governor Umahi who made this known to the public through the state’s media house weekly update, noted that he would not fold his hands “to watch Ebonyians die like chicken, insisting that zhrre will be no room for any hideout for the perpetrators of the killings.
Hear him: “I have asked the Dss and the Police to arrest anybody , politicians or political office holders who in one way or the other involved themselves or have a link with cult activities. Enough is a enough to God- fatherism without implementation of actions.
“Whether he’s my friend, son, supporters, whoever! No one is an exemption if found guilty”, he said.
However, Governor Umahi explained that his administration had ended the protracted cult clash among Ohaukwu youth.
