Abia 2023: Mascot Uzor Kalu Most Prepared Gov’ship Candidate — Ohafia Stakeholders
Ohafia Local Government Area leaders of thought have expressed support for Chief Mascot Uzor Kalu, the governorship candidate of the Action People’s Party (APP), to become the next governor of Abia state in 2023.
The stakeholders comprising of community leaders, traditional leaders, politicians, youths and women described Mascot Uzor Kalu as the most prepared governorship candidate in 2023, prevailing on Abians to elect him overwhelmingly ahead of others for greater development of the state.
The stakeholders stated this in a statement signed by Chief Offia Kalu Okoro (Ohafia), Dr. David Ndukwo (Abiriba) and Hon. Orji Ndukwe (Nkporo), on Tuesday in Umuahia on behalf of 700 others, noting that Mascot Uzor Kalu’s managerial skill, competency and exposure put him in the best position to succeed Governor Okezie Ikpeazu in 2023.
“Chief Mascot Uzor Kalu being a former Chief of Staff to the Governor, consummate businessman, a renowned economist, technocrat, philanthropist and above all, coming from Abia North Senatorial District is the most prepared candidate to succeed Governor Okezie Ikpeazu.
“He has acquired a wealth of bureaucratic experience spanning over 20 years and has garnered extensive Insight into the business of administration and planning. His antecedents for exemplary leadership are glaring and he continues to personify humility despite his family background.
“To steady the ship of God’s own state, Abians must elect a candidate who has the capacity and demonstrated ability to deliver as governor in 2023. Mascot Uzor Kalu is a trailblazer, result-oriented leader with a proven track record that can turn around the state within a short period of time.
“He is a courageous leader who is capable of leading Abia state to Eldorado. Ohafia Local Government Area is solidly behind him since we believe it is the turn of Abia North. He is the most prepared and competent candidate to succeed Governor Okezie Ikpeazu in 2023,” the stakeholders said.
