The member representing Ikwuano/Umuahia North/South Federal Constituency at the House of Representatives, Rep. Sam Onuigbo has urged Hon. Chimaobi Ebisike of PDP to imbibe the leadership traits of late Rt. Hon. Ossy Prestige, the immediate past House Member.
Rep. Sam Onuigbo stated this today, Monday, in his congratulatory message to Hon. Chimaobi Ebisike, the candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party(PDP), who was announced the winner of the election, in the just concluded Aba North/South Federal Constituency bye-election.
It will be recalled that the Independent National Electoral Commission, (INEC) had conducted a bye-election to fill the seat on March 27, 2021, following the painful demise of Rt. Hon. Ossy Prestige.
Reacting to the victory, Onuigbo, aka. Odozi-Obodo, a close ally of the late Prestige, urged the newly elected member to do as much as he possibly could to stick to the laid down high-level of leadership and people-centered representation of Rt. Hon. Prestige.
According to Odozi-Obodo, “Ossy exhibited a high level of leadership worthy of emulation and was a people- entered representative. Those were the attributes that endeared him to the people of Aba North/South Federal Constituency of Abia State, and indeed Nigeria”, he concluded.
