Prof. Gregory has poured encomiums on the wife of the Executive Governor of Abia State, Deaconess Nkechi Ikpeazu PhD following her relentless efforts in improving on the lives of the women through entrepreneurial development.
Prof. Gregory made this commendation when he paid a courtesy visit to the first lady at Government House, Umuahia, as he lauded the First Lady for her unflinching dedication which he said was evident in the lives of the women in the state.
He described Mrs. Ikpeazu’s remarkable efforts in women development “as nothing short of epic”, while reiterating his avowed dedication to the economic growth of Abia State through entrepreneurship.
He pledged his zeal to partner the office of the wife of the Governor in
her building project, hence
completing the Secretariat of the National Council of Women Society in the State.
Furthermore, Prof. Greg who recalled his recent donation of popcorn machines to indigent women through the office of Her Excellency in his bid to support her vision, reassured his commitment to replicating the support he has given the National Council of Women at the National level to the State.
