The happiness and joy of the people of Ebonyi State know no bounds following the mysterious resurrection of the Commissioner for Infrastructure, Engineer Kings Fidelis Nweze whose sudden demise was also confirmed by the Governor of the state.
It would be recalled that the Commissioner whose death threw the entire State in utter melancholy, as announced on Tuesday morning, by Governor David Nweze Umahi, reportedly occurred at about 9:50 am at Turkish Hospital, Abuja.
News filtering in from Abakaliki the capital Ebonyi State suggests that Engr.Fidelis Nweze, who was reported dead in a car crash is alive.
Emotional saddled Governor of Ebonyi State, had wept, as he declared yesterday, Wednesday a public holiday, in order for the state to mourn the supposedly dead Commissioner.
The Governor stated:
“All government officials in collaboration with the state branch of the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) would organise prayer and fasting sessions all through the mourning period.
“We have to pray for his family and the ring-road project which he was the chairman of its committee for the past six years. Nweze wass his younger brother, son and “indispensable pillar” of his administration since 2015.
“He died on the morning of June 21 at the Turkish Hospital, Abuja.
Speaking further, he said: “He was travelling to Enugu on Saturday, June 19, about 7 p.m. with his orderly and driver as his vehicle rammed into a stationery articulated vehicle around Obinagu area of the state.
“They were all conscious after the accident as his orderly and driver sustained slight injuries and were discharged from hospital,” he said.
However, a viral video has just shown that the Commissioner has come back to life again, as there is jubilation in Ebonyi State, as people could be seen on the streets, dancing and rejoicing in appreciation for God’s intervention.
