Sen. Mao Ohuabunwa, former speaker ECOWAS Parliament and founder, Follow Better Organization has commiserated with the family of Late Mazi Oliver Okereke Okpara,
a committed member of the Foundation.
In his commiseration message, Mao described the deceased as a hard-working and kind hearted stakeholder of the People’s Democratic Party in Arochukwu LGA of Abia State, who left good legacies in the sand of time.
Speaking with newsmen, the Distinguished Senator aka. Follow Better charged the bereaved to endeavour to stick to the footprints of the fallen hero, insisting same would gladden the soul of the deceased in the underworld.
Describing Late Oliver, Mao said: “Mazi Ikpo was a jolly good fellow who was loved by all and sundry. He is a man who will be missed by everyone irrespective of political affiliations. It’s said that the good doesn’t last long in the land and we wish we could stop the hand of death but in all we give thanks to God for he knows the best.
Also, the Director-General of Follow Better, Dr. Ndubuisi Chibuike Eke (Nwachinemere) described Mazi Ikpo as a friendly, kind and easy going man who maintained a peaceful relationship with everyone around him.
H, therefore, appealed to the immediate family members and PDP faithfuls to take solace in God’s words, while assuring that “we shall meet with him on the last day.”
