Not too long ago,our social media handles became so much busy with calls, pleas, concerns and recommendations directed all to the office of the amiable Governor of Ebonyi state His Excellency, chief Engr David Nweze UMAHI (FNATE, FNSE) mostly bothering on his decisions including ban on motorcycles operation, imposition of dusk to dawn curfew and to release partitive materials to cushion the effect of lockdown occasioned by covid-19 pandemic.
It was a successful news today when I was reliably informed of the latest development in Ebonyi that our dear Governor has lifted the ban on motorcycles operation and has equally relaxed the dusk to dawn curfew prior imposed as the measures to protect the state from the contract of covid-19 pandemic.
GOV UMAHI had ban the use of motorcycles in Ebonyi state when according to him,some OKADA operators defiled government border lockdown order and illegally sneaked into the state using Apia way and unofficial directions, the action if not stopped is capable of easing the covid-19 positive carrier into the state.
He had equally imposed dusk to dawn curfew across the state as measure to limiting unwarranted movement from 7pm to 7am in the state.
On this note, I wish to specially commend our dear Governor for heeding to our calls and understanding the plight and suffering of Ebonyi people most specially the youths who use motorcycles operation as a means of livelihood.
Our dear Governor should on this note know that we will always commend him when he take a good decision putting the good people of Ebonyi first while we will equally call and remind him any time he takes a decision capable of imposing more hardship on our people.
For our amiable Governor to heed to the pleads of Ebonyi people and lifts the ban on motorcycles operation, relaxes dusk to dawn curfew and assures our people of the government’s readiness to soon distribute palliative materials, He is exceptional and excellent in leadership. I describe him as a quintessential leader with the hearts of Gold.GOV UMAHI accept my commendations in this regard.
