The new Imo State Commissioner for Finance, , Mrs. Doris Nkiruka Nduka Anita is a woman endowed with innumerable striking qualities.
Recall that Imo State Governor, Sen. Hope Uzodinma has on Wednesday, March 24 appointed new Executives into his cabinet.
The newly sworn in Commissioner for Finance and Coordinator for the State’s Economy Hon. (Mrs.) Doris Nkiruka Nduka Anita is a proud daughter of Ugwuta LGA of Imo state.
Speaking with Newsmen shortly after the swearing in exercise of the new Commissioners, at Rockview Hotel, Owerri, Imo State capital, yesterday, Mrs. Nduka described the new Executives as instruments of progress and prosperity in God’s hands.
Hon. Doris admitted that Imo remained the gateway to the Eastern economy and has pledged to turn Imo state into a fertile ground, as she assumes office.

Hon. Doris has served in the banking industry (Zenith Bank) for 19-years and, therefore, has assured Imolites and the world in general that her wealth of knowledge as acquired over the years would be judiciously utilised in sustaining the state’s economy, as well as driving same forward through the grace of the Almighty God.
2.The proud daughter of Ugwuta LGA of Imo state is the Group Head of Service and General Manager in Zenith Bank.
According to Hon. Doris, “I have served in Zenith Bank for almost 19-years. God has the magic and we’re just an instrument for prosperity and progress”, she said.
The Finance Commissioner expressed gratitude to the Governor, Sen. Hope Uzodinma for deeming it worth-her-while to serve in his cabinet, while pledging her unalloyed support in driving home the administration’s vision.
She said: “I’m here to support the vision of the Governor. As he deemed me fit to join his cabinet, by the grace of God, I’ll make Imo state profitable to drive home the vision of the Governor.”
On the current paucity of funds suffered by the state, she said: “we’ll try our best. That’s all we can assure them” she concluded.
