10th Matriculation Anniversary: Gregory University Based On Ideation, Imbuement Of Knowledge For Tomorrow… Director

The Director of Gregory University, Uturu, in Abia State, Dr. O. A. Chukwu has prided in the feats as achieved by the famous institution, saying, the school is strictly guided by laid down principles, which are based on ideation and imbuement of knowledge for tomorrow.

Dr. Chukwu stated this, today, while giving his remarks as the institution marked her 10th Matriculation Anniversary.

In his address, the Director commended the management of the private tertiary education adopting and sustaining an outstanding performance since inception.

He described the year’s ceremony as a milestone event as it coincides with the founding of the university over ten years prior.

He said: “In continuance of her unblemished record of burgeoning and sustained growth and as the foremost privately managed centre of excellence in tertiary education in Nigeria, the Gregory University Uturu will on Saturday 12″ February commemorate her 10″ year anniversary and mark her 10 matriculation ceremony.

Furthermore, he lauded the institution for her uninterrupted learning sessions, as well as the conducive learning environment and facilities, as provided by the school.

In his words: “During the course of coming into existence of Gregory University Uturu, the institution has witnessed unbroken academic activities, even during the era of the Covid-19 pandemic and have continued to represent the ethos upon which a university is required in any society -essentially bridging the divide between the town and gown in the immediate university community, states within the region wherein the University is located and also the country through the University’s design, incubation and development of required products and services which cut across preventive health Rems, polymer based products, wood and metallurgical articles.

“The guiding principles of Gregory University Uturu is predicated on ideation and imbuement of knowledge for tomorrow. Thus, hands-on and skills-based on education remains what is primarily on offer within this university. It is for this reason among others – ambient environment, current technology and equipment, brilliant faculty, modern pedagogy — that year on year, the scholar population keeps burgeoning.
